Everyone has or has had that shoe that crumbled inside, and many times you didn’t even use it so much for that to happen.
The shoe when not used, it ends up drying and crumbling. One of the ways to avoid this is using shoes, so if you don’t use them anymore, it’s better to donate, right?!
To care for and keep your shoes up to date, simply follow these steps:
After using it, pass a brush on the sole to remove dust and dirt that came from the street
If you got rain or wet, let it dry in the shade. (if you have removable insole, take them off to dry better and avoid bad odor.
To clean your shoes, always use a damp cloth and let it dry in the shade, pay attention to some materials such as Suede, in which a dry cloth is enough for cleaning, thus avoiding spoiling the material.
Sneakers NEVER put in washing machines and dryers. An excellent tip is to use a toothbrush (the old one that you would throw away) because its bristles are soft and so they also avoid fading the color of your sneakers.
When storing, prefer to store it out of the box, so that your shoes can always breathe. If you have bags of TNT, it is a good option because this way you are away from moths and your shoes breathe normally.
To store high-top boots, avoid folding them, if possible make a cone with magazines or newspapers and place it inside to keep the boot’s shaft upright without marking it.
AVOID using mothballs to fight mold, fungi and moths as it can stain your shoes. Use cedar pellets are great for this.
In Leather shoes, there are neutral moisturizing creams and sometimes even the color of the shoe itself that serve to maintain the color, shine and prevent the material from drying out.
